The truth is … I probably would never have started this blog or tried podcasting, if it weren’t for my boss Al. He’s a great guy with a big heart who loves new technology. He jumped on the social media train the moment it left the station while I, on the other hand, was perfectly content to remain minimally connected.

Now I’m getting into the idea of having my say and sharing what it’s like to work as a professional in the community relations field. I’m also looking forward to sharing new ideas, best practices, and stories that demonstrate how the win-win combination of tying community relations to business goals not only creates good corporate citizens, but also benefits the communities we call home.
