So, a lot of you probably got new cell phones as holiday gifts, right?  If you are like me, you want to do something useful with your old phone but it’s just too much work to figure out where to donate it.

Why not make it easy on everyone and schedule a cell phone collection drive for your work site.

Organizations such as Phones for Life (www.phones4life.org), which supplies old and used cell phones to senior citizens for 911 access, and Funding Factory (www.fundingfactory.com), which helps victims of domestic violence, can make all the difference. In addition to cell phones, Funding Factory also recycles used inkjet and laser cartridges.

Organizations like Phones for Life and Funding Factory do most of the legwork so working with them not only is simple, it gets rid of old phones and printer cartridges. This is an easy ongoing project that anyone can do AND if you choose to do a collection such as this, you can help two causes – recycling and a nonprofit organization.
