OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is a light-emitting technology composed of a thin, multilayered organic film placed between an anode and cathode. In contrast to LCD technology, OLED does not require a backlight. OLED possesses high application potential for virtually all types of displays and is regarded as the ultimate technology for the next generation of flat-panel displays.
Powertip is now offering the first family of full-color OLED displays to the distribution market in the following sizes and resolutions:
-
2.0” 176 x 220
-
2.4” 320 x 240
-
2.8” 320 x 240
-
3.4” 480 x 272
